Who I help
Three kinds of people walk through this door.
Different goals, same approach. Find the real cause, treat it with your hands and your training, and build enough capacity that it stays fixed.
Active adults returning to sport
You ran, lifted, played, hiked. Then something started hurting and never fully went away. We find the cause, calm it down, and rebuild the capacity so it stays gone.
Athletes who want real programming
You are past rehab and ready to train. Detailed movement analysis and a strength program built around your sport and your body, not a generic handout.
Older adults staying ahead of injury
The goal is independence. Balance, strength, and mechanics that keep you doing your own stairs, your own groceries, your own life.

Inside a session
Sixty minutes. All of it with me.
Plenty of clinics give you fifteen minutes with the therapist and forty-five with an aide. That is not what happens here.
Hands-on manual therapy
Direct work on the tissue and joint to change how it feels before we ask it to work.
Detailed movement analysis
We watch you move closely to find what actually caused it. The painful spot is rarely the guilty one.
Clear education
You leave understanding what is happening and why, so you are not dependent on me to manage it.
Strength and mobility exercises
Targeted loading that rebuilds capacity, so the fix holds as you keep excelling in your activities.
The space
Where the work happens.
A treatment table for the hands-on work and the full gym floor at JustTone Fitness in Burlingame for the strength side. Same therapist, start to finish.
Our method
Assess. Restore. Progress.
Kaizen means continuous improvement. Small, deliberate progress, session over session, until the thing that used to hurt is the thing you trust.
01
Assess
A full movement screen and a real conversation. We find what is actually driving the problem, which is rarely where it hurts.
02
Restore
Hands-on manual therapy plus targeted exercises to bring the pain down and get the motion back.
03
Progress
Load it, build it, keep going. This is the step most physical therapy skips, and the reason things come back.
Pricing
Straightforward pricing, no surprises.
Every session is sixty minutes, one on one, with me. No aides, no double-booking, no rushing you out the door.
Initial evaluation
$249
60 minutes, one on one
Full movement screen and history
Hands-on treatment the same visit
A written plan you understand and can follow
Follow-up session
$200
60 minutes, one on one
Manual therapy and re-assessment
Progressive strength programming
Adjustments between visits as needed
Why I do not bill insurance
Insurance decides how long your session runs and what counts as progress. Paying directly means those calls are ours, not a claims department’s. I can provide a superbill you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement.
Patients
What patients say.

Today, I’m running without pain.
As a patient, I felt heard, supported, and challenged in the best way possible. Dr. Katrina not only guided me through targeted exercises, but also taught me strategies and techniques I couldn’t have learned elsewhere - and she didn’t take it easy on me, lol.
I now have tools I’ll continue to use to help me stay healthy. Today, I’m running without pain, moving with more confidence and feeling stronger.

At no point did she ever tell me to just stop doing the sport.
I’ve been working with Dr. Katrina Lee, who has been awesome. She’s very personable and knowledgeable and is understanding of the need for someone like me to continue training while also going through physical therapy. At no point did she ever tell me to just stop doing the sport, and I appreciate that.
The exercises she’s prescribed for me have been instrumental in strengthening hidden weaknesses and my shoulder is doing so much better than it was before.

I didn’t find relief until I started PT with Katrina.
I’ve had such a wonderful experience here, healing a middle-back injury that caused me pain for nearly a year. I have been working with Katrina, a doctor of physical therapy who has taken a multi-faceted approach to my treatment from a variety of disciplines. She provides a realistic program that I can follow at home. She’s also a lovely human.
I tried everything from dry needling, to chiropractic, orthopedic care and countless hours of pilates. I didn’t find relief until I started PT with Katrina.

About
The person you will actually work with.
Dr. Katrina Lee, PT, DPT, CSCS. Licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, Oregon, and my Bachelor’s Degree in Health, Exercise, and Sport Sciences from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.
I was born and raised in the Bay Area. My passion for strength training started in the weight room during my high school basketball years, and it carried into college, where I became a personal trainer helping clients reach their own goals through exercise. I like celebrating wins, big or small, and I am always picking up new hobbies so I understand the real demands of the activities my patients love. Everyone is different, so I build every plan with the person in front of me, combining strength training, yoga, and Pilates to restore pain-free movement and get performance back.
Outside the clinic you will find me snowboarding, in hot yoga or Pilates.
Why Kaizen
Kaizen is the Japanese idea of continuous improvement, and I chose it because that is how bodies actually change. Not one dramatic session, but small deliberate steps that compound. Whether you are coming back from an injury or building on top of what you already have, the method is the same. Small steps, real change.
